Privacy Policy — Personal Assistant

Last updated: October 21, 2026.

Personal Assistant (“the application”) is a private, single-user, self-hosted tool operated by the owner of this domain for their own personal use. This policy explains what the application does with data obtained through the Google APIs.

1. Whose data

Only the operator's own Google account data. The application has one user: its operator. It is not offered to the public and it does not accept accounts from anyone else.

2. What is accessed, and why

No other Google services are accessed. Google Docs and Google Contacts are not accessed by this application, and Drive access is read-only (the application cannot modify, share or delete files).

3. Where data is stored

Authorisation tokens and retrieved content are stored on a server owned and controlled by the operator. They are not stored in any third-party cloud service operated by the application.

4. Sharing

Data is not sold, rented, traded or shared with advertisers or data brokers. To produce a response, relevant content may be transmitted to third-party large-language-model providers (for example OpenAI or Nous Research) under the operator's own accounts, solely for the purpose of generating that response. Those providers process the content under their own terms and privacy policies. Data is not used by the operator to train machine-learning models.

5. Retention and deletion

Retrieved content is retained on the operator's server only as long as useful for the operator's own assistant workflows, and can be deleted by them at any time. Authorisation tokens remain until the operator revokes access or deletes them.

6. Revoking access

The operator — and only the operator — can revoke this application's Google access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access immediately stops all further access, and the stored token is then deleted from the server.

7. Google API Services User Data Policy

The application's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
